Fashion is something very personal and very special in every individual’s life and it forms a very important part in enhancing the look and feel of every person. Hence, the fashion industry is closely related to the needs and preferences of the consumer and it has to cater to their needs perfectly in order to stay alive and grow. Fashion needs reflect on the individual’s attitude and approach towards life and the better dressed and contemporary a person is, the better are his chances of being accepted by society. Gone are the days when fashion apparels and accessories were restricted only to the female. Today\’s modern man is equally aware about fashion and the need to look and feel good. Hence, this important and vital factor should not be overlooked. To change and cater to this volatile and ever changing fashion preferences of the consumer, newer and more modern approaches in managing the entire production and marketing cycle is needed.
