Why Fashion is So Volatile?
If anything is unpredictable today, it is fashion. Fashion trends keep on changing by the minute and it makes life really difficult for the persons who are the helm of affairs in this industry. People invest lot money, time and resources into this business with the hope of making some money out of it. But the reality is that out of ten such fashion designers who get into this business only two really make it to the success world. The reason for this is the ever changing consumer preferences and tastes. Today fashion designing is no longer about dresses and clothing but it encompasses a whole lot of other things including accessories and other things related to this industry. However, the problem cannot be solved unless there is a coordination at all levels including production, marketing advertising and research and development. This is easier said done in this industry considering the fact that most of the times the requirement originates in some corner of the world and the actual procurement happen somewhere else while the production takes place in the third place. Coordinating all these activities together is indeed a humungous task and added to this if there is a sudden change in the fashion requirement of the consumer then things really become difficult for the manufacturer.
